What time do I need to arrive?
Our worship service begins at 10:00 am. Adult Sunday School begins 15 minutes after worship ends and meets in the lower level. Coffee and snacks are served in the fellowship hall in the lower level as well after worship. We would encourage you to come and give us a chance to know you more and you to get to know us as well.
What do I need to wear?
While some people will dress up, most everyone dresses casual (or business casual) for worship. The same for all other events through the week. Don't worry about what you wear, come enjoy the difference you will experience at the Caledonia United Methodist Church.
Where do I park?
Parking is available with accessible parking in the upper/office parking lot. General parking is available in the lower parking lot. A greeter and ushers will be at the upper door waiting to welcome and assist you.
A Gracespace is available in the rear of the sanctuary where you and your infant can enjoy the service. Noiseless toys, coloring books, puzzles, etc. are available to entertain your infant while you are able to participate in the church service. Infants, 0 - kindergarten, are invited to remain with you during the service. As an alternative, a nursery is also available, downstairs, with an attendant provided and a call feature to the sanctuary, if parents are needed.
Elementary Sunday School
Elementary children grade K - 5 are invited to Sunday School during Sunday morning service during the school year. In the summer, there are special activities for kids in weekly worship. In addition, we have activities monthly throughout the year for kids (and sometimes their families as well). Those who wish to remain in the sanctuary for service may utilize activity bags located in the back of the sanctuary. Family involvement in Youth Ministry is important to us and we start that early by holding events for our elementary school children and their families. Whether it's Christmas in July, an open gym night, or Pumpkin Carving, we have a BLAST growing together as a church family while providing safe bonding time for children and their families. Those who are interested in volunteering must follow the requirements of the Child Protection Policy.
Our passion is to nurture, protect and inspire even the littlest of God’s children in a secure environment where we celebrate their uniqueness and share with them Christ's love, at the same time providing parents the opportunity to become closer disciples of God.
When you come to the Caledonia United Methodist Church and would like childcare for your child, the Nursery is available for you. The Nursery is for infants through kindergarten age children. It is opened about 15 minutes before worship. You can contact Tassey Handley at email@example.com
